Duration: 1 hour twice a week or 120 mins once a week

Price: 67 lei plus TVA per hour

French

Native French lessons with Teacher Suzanne, graduate of La Sorbonne University in Paris, who has over 5 years of experience teaching French to children, teenagers and adults from beginner to advanced levels (Pre A1 – C2).

Ages: 4-17 years

Levels: Beginner to Advanced

Duration: 1 hour twice a week or 120 mins once a week

Price: 67 RON +VAT/hour

Class Size: max 10 students

What you can expect to learn:

Suzanne’s teaching style and experience offers a major competitive advantage to students who wish to study French. Each group can expect to improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills via interactive sessions that will allow students time to listen, talk and practice with a native French teacher.

All our French courses will follow level appropriate workbooks, along with lots of additional speaking practice, songs, vocabulary and grammar games and many more educational activities to boost student knowledge and learning levels to reach the ultimate goal of developing confidence in speaking and understanding French fluently.

German

Native German lessons with Teacher Tamara, graduate of the University of Augsburg with a Bachelors in Education, who has over 15 years of experience teaching German to children, teenagers and adults from beginner to advanced levels (Pre A1 – C2).

Native Mandarin lessons with Teacher Shaohua, a qualified and certified International Chinese Teacher, with over 18 years experience teaching foreign expat adults, children and teenagers Chinese in various International Schools in Shanghai & Beijing, Auckland and Bucharest. Students can study from Beginners to Advanced levels (Pre A1 – C2).

Shaohua’s years of teaching experience enables her to effectively adopt various teaching techniques and methods in class to maximise the results for her students. Lessons are tailored and customised based on levels of learning, student interests and individual learning styles. From beginner level to advanced, students will enjoy learning Mandarin and Chinese culture, through fun games, Chinese songs, rhymes, calligraphy, crafts and food etc.

Spanish

Native Spanish lessons with Teacher Angelica, originally from Columbia, who has over 6 years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults the Spanish language and culture from Beginners to Advanced levels (Pre A1 – C2).

Romanian For Expats

Native Romanian lessons with Teacher Irina, originally from Romania, with over 10 years experience teaching English in various locations around the world such as Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Australia, Sri Lanka, UK and Romania and in more recent years teaching Romanian to expats in Bucharest.

Romanian for Beginner Expats

Having been an expat in different stages of her life, Irina fully understands the
challenges a new language and culture can bring, and through her Romanian lessons she hopes to make the transition to your life and time in Romania a smooth and enjoyable process.

Ages: Adults

Levels: Beginner to Advanced

Duration: 12 weeks (24 hours) – 1 hour twice a week or 120 mins once a week

Price: 107 RON +VAT/hour

Class Size: max 7 students

Class times: Wednesday 11:00 – 13:00.

What you can expect to learn:

This course is designed for students who have little to no knowledge of the Romanian language and want to know simple words and phrases to start communicating with a Romanian friend/partner/speaker.

By the end of this course you will be able to:
• say hello, goodbye, thank you and greetings
• introduce yourself
• say numbers, weeks, months, seasons
• tell and listen to the time
• tell and ask about nationalities and jobs
• give personal information (phone number, address)
• order food at a restaurant
• Take a taxi, bus or metro
• Buy something from the supermarket/pharmacy/shop

Conversation Club for Expats

Ages: Adults

Levels: Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate

Duration: 12 weeks (24 hours) – 1 hour twice a week or 120 mins once a week

Price: 107 RON +VAT/hour

Class Size: max 7 students

Class times: Thursday 10:30-12:30

What you can expect to learn:

This short course is designed for students who are at a pre-intermediate/intermediate level of Romanian and wish to develop their fluency and confidence in speaking.

By the end of this course you will be able to:
• making an appointment over the phone (e.g. doctor, hairdresser, etc.)
• making a booking over the phone (e.g. restaurant, hotel, etc.)
• going to the doctor
• shopping at a supermarket
• shopping at a farmers’ market
• ordering in a restaurant
• travelling and getting around (buying tickets)
• giving and getting directions
• travelling and chit-chatting with locals
• dealing with complaints when travelling
• booking entertainment (e.g. concert tickets, museum visits, etc.)
• meeting people at a party
• talking about festivals and celebrations
• Talking about your family/children.
